The school drop-out rate has increased in Southwest Virginia
over the last 18 years. Our goal at the 2nd Chance Learning
Center is to not only turn this rate around — but to
also help our students understand that education will empower
them to open the doors to opportunity. We are working directly
through the community and with the school system to make sure
that those students who need a helping hand, a little extra
guidance, know that the 2nd Chance Learning Center is the place
where we can and will make success happen.
Second Chance Learning Center provides students with a firm
educational foundation in a relaxed environment by educating
and teaching students through classroom instruction, mentoring,
personal tutoring, student counseling and promoting continued
education with scholarships and grants.
Instruction is provided in the following

- Science
- Mathematics
